David has been a staff pastor for 30 years in various churches ranging in size from 100 to over 1,000 in attendance. He has a deep passion to see God's people develop a lifestyle of worship and a hunger to grow in God's Word to become Godly influencers in their world through the power of a transformed life. David also loves to develop and mentor young people in their gifts who have a call to become leaders.
Born in Bolivia to missionary parents and raised in an Assemblies of God pastor's home, David felt a call to ministry as a young boy. After running from that call as a teenager and falling into a life of alcohol and drugs, God miraculously delivered him at the age of 17 and renewed his call to full-time ministry. David attended Bethany University in Santa Cruz, CA where he studied music and biblical studies and graduated with a BA in Music. He has also been a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God for 26 years.
He and his wife, Meriam have been married for 27 years and currently live in San Antonio, TX. They have one son, Chris, who is 20. Meriam has a degree in Nonprofit Management and is currently the Executive Director of a private foundation. She also has extensive experience in all areas of Women's Ministries including speaking, teaching, coordinating conferences and retreats, and counseling.
